Create Custom Groups

Use custom groups to combine products into higher-level categories when working with a field that contains thousands of products. This is useful for data inconsistencies that you want to clean up by grouping data. You can use dynamic groups to place variations in the same category. Items that are not part of a specified group can be added to a generic Other group.

Create a Custom Group

1. Click Advanced Tools → Create Custom Group.

   

2. Type a name for your custom group.
3. Select the attributes for the custom group. Any remaining attributes that are not added to a custom group are added to the Other custom group by default.
